We believe your documents belong to you. That is why DocuBrief is built with a "Privacy First" architecture.
On-Device Processing
All core features run locally on your iPhone:
- Scanning & OCR (Vision Framework)
- AI Summaries & Chat (Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models)
- Translation (Translation Framework)
We do not have servers that see, read, or store your documents.
App Lock
Secure your sensitive files from device handling:
- Go to Settings.
- Toggle "App Lock".
- The app will require FaceID, TouchID, or your Passcode immediately upon opening.
iCloud Sync
If enabled, your documents sync to your personal private iCloud container.
- Encryption: Data is encrypted by Apple.
- Ownership: Only you hold the keys. Even we generally cannot access this data.
- Sync: Seamlessly switch between your iPhone and iPad.
